Andrew eats, breaths, thinks and lives sustainability. As our Founder, his background is 12 years as an entrepreneur in the energy and financial space where he has owned several energy focused companies with specialties including: energy deregulation, commodities trading, LED lighting, energy consulting, energy engineering, and energy insurance. This company, in GCE is his life's work, and is ultimately part of his legacy to change communities towards sustainability forever.

Tom focuses on finding better ways for GCE to be valuable to clients. His over 30 years of experience in the business world and expertise has given him two unique and complimentary skill sets, listening and implementing. He has for the last decade specialized in the financial and technical side of energy infrastructure with a specialty in building materials, building envelope, and windows.

Colin is the head of energy operations and design of large projects. He and his team analyze impact on savings, safety, learning environment, and making sure your project saves as much energy as possible. Colin’s background is electrical engineering, chemistry, and biology at Ohio State. He then added sustainability at Duke University. He is a hands-on person that enjoys making things better than he found them.

Anurag Gupta stands out as a seasoned 30+ year leader whose career is marked by significant contributions to global missions, global companies and high-stakes startups. His leadership and strategic insight have catalyzed the growth of several industry giants, making him a pivotal figure in the success stories of companies like Coca-Cola, Lululemon, Honeywell and Autozone. Notably, Anurag's expert guidance was instrumental in developing transformative leadership training for Coca-Cola and played a crucial role in Lululemon's expansion leading up to their public offering that achieved a 150% bump over expected launch price. He also significantly supported the founders of Autozone, demonstrating his ability to drive substantial business improvements in developed models. His effective strategies and innovative approach have helped two of his clients secure the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. Building on these impressive achievements, Anurag made the decision to stop working as a consultant unless the business mission was completely devoted to the regeneration of life and service to others.

Jeff Kirks brings extensive expertise in renewable energy project development and financing to his role at Guaranteed Community Advisors (GCA). For the past four years, Jeff served as Vice President of Government Programs and spearheaded initiatives like the Sustainable Communities Network aimed at helping municipalities, and communities reduce electricity costs through solar and storage solutions. Jeff's credentials underscore his commitment to sustainable development practices. He is a certified instructor for the U.S. Green Building Council's credential maintenance program. Kirks Institute, where Jeff is a principal, is an approved USGBC education provider. Jeff holds a Master's in Global Environmental Policy from American University.

Tony has over 30 years’ experience in integrating energy saving and emission reduction technologies into the built environment. He has an amazing way of building deep and meaningful relationships with communities all over the country. He currently manages strategic partnerships in a DOE award winning service offering that brings solar plus storage programs to LMI communities & Opportunity Zones across the U.S. He is an industry expert in Energy Equity, SBA Commerce Department’s Green 504 Exemption Renewable Energy Program, the Commerce & Treasury Department’s Opportunity Zone Renewable Energy Tax Credit Programs and provides energy consulting expertise to Clean Indoor Air Initiatives across the U.S. Tony has partnered with some of the largest residential and commercial renewable energy companies and has sold hundreds of residential & commercial solar systems.

A visionary leader by example in sustainable community development, Graham has demonstrated a profound commitment to enhancing community infrastructure through innovative financing and strategic partnerships. As the former Mayor of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Richard's leadership was instrumental in transforming the city into a model of efficiency and sustainability, earning him national recognition as "America's Broadband Mayor." His relationships from years of experience and ability to create capital stacking strategies for government and public entities makes his efforts within GCA second to none in the country.

James is the head of strategic projects at GCA. His role entails formulating, executing and implementing strategic initiatives across the span of all functions within GCA designed to continuously evolve GCA and enable it to achieve scale. These initiatives cover the gamut of strategy, cultural transformation, operations and client delivery. James is no stranger to the bleeding edge business landscape, high-performance teams or client service. His depth and breadth of expertise is rooted in 15+ years of engineering and management consulting experience working at Fortune 500 and top-tier consulting firms such as General Dynamics, HP, IBM and Accenture. James has advised executives in both the public and private sector leading over 35 projects across over 10 different industries.

Nick Yee brings over 25 years of experience in medical innovation, real estate, engineering and entrepreneurship to his role as Head of Generation and Emerging Energy Technology at Guaranteed Community Advisors (GCA). After a distinguished career as one of the leading Interventional Radiologists in the country, Nick transitioned into sustainable energy drawn by its potential to revolutionize community infrastructure. At GCA, Nick spearheads initiatives that harness cutting-edge renewable generation technologies and intelligent energy management systems. His medical device development background lends unique insights into identifying novel solutions and their ability to work within systems of systems. His understanding of biology and the body inform Nick's entrepreneurial mindset and helps GCA stay at the forefront of emerging energy breakthroughs.

Scott Houghton is an accomplished leader renowned for his exceptional proficiency in operations management, why we do what we do, and implementation in large scale facility development. With a career spanning across sustainability, senior living and the healthcare sector, Scott has consistently focused on listening and helping people to be the engine of impact. Scott's expertise lies in the relationships it takes to oversee the construction and management of facilities from inception to fruition. He possesses a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach to problem-solving, ensuring that every dollar invested is maximized for optimal returns. Throughout his tenure, Scott has successfully managed multi-million-dollar budgets daily, consistently exceeding financial goals while maintaining a focus on sustainability efficiency, and people.

Michael Sousa serves as the Director of Community Projects at GCA, where he is pivotal in cultivating and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with clients. In this role, Michael excels in listening to the nuanced needs of clients and delivering customized, sustainable energy solutions that address these needs effectively. His responsibilities also include overseeing the comprehensive execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.
